Growing up in Cleveland,Oh. in the 50′s and 60′s I was often amused at my nest door neighbor who was odd indeed. Mrs. Hodapp was so funny to me. Not only did she have a paraquet flying around the house who she talked to throughout the day but now get this she watched every Indian baseball game. A very sweet cute older adult in her twilight years would always invite me in and let me hang around for as long as I wanted. Time passsed. She moved to Florida and I lost touch. I heard she died back in the 70′s but not finding out before of exactly who she was related to. Johnny Hodapp was her brother-in-law and Johnny actually visited her house every now and then and I didn’t even know it. I was just a kid being born in 1950.
